"Beautiful rooms, beautiful property with kind staff, especially Dennis. Gorgeous, but the hotel’s amenities i found were significantly pricier than surrounding hotels, for example a bike rentak here would by $850 mxd conpared to next door where it was $350, their restaurant was gorgeous and loved the food quality, but again significantly higher prices than neighboring spots. "My stay at Ikal was phenomenal. I was looking for an opportunity to enjoy a wellness experience and they delivered. The room was just as advertised and they had a wonderful schedule of activities. The location in the national park gave us access to several beach clubs and restaurants along the beach so I could really explore the area.
The staff was amazing, super communicative and accommodated our needs/addressed any questions.
Would definitely return during peak season or visit their sister property on my next trip. "
"The parts that were being used was well maintained. There were many areas not being used but still a very nice hotel. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Paco showed me many restaurants and things to do in the city, he was very helpful "
"This is a new property just opened in April 2025, and has been buit to a very high spec. The rooms are modern and each with private jacuzzi’s, with the suites super luxiorious with a kitchen and living room and very roomy. The swimming pool area has lots of loungers to relax after a swim, and has a dining area in the middle to order refreshments. The gym is fully equiped and excellent. 24 hr concerciege and free parking. Ivan, the manager, and his team are always readily available to help if you require anything. The cleaning staff are great and ensure rooms left pristine"
