We had such a pleasant stay at the Kimpton Aluna! The room is spacious, with 2 clean outdoor pools. I really appreciate that the bicycles are free so we can explore downtown Tulum and go to local restaurants. The receptionists were so helpful in recommending us cenotes and beaches to go to, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to Tulum.

Great hotel for a short stay in Tulum, room was very big and spacious. Rooms are pretty clean and presentable. Bike rental was great for us to save a couple $ on local transport. Walkable to some decent dining options on the south side of the main drag. Pretty easy bike ride down to the beach. The road the hotel is on isn’t illuminated at night but we felt very safe around the area generally.

The Kimpton Hotel is a true gem! My best friend and I stayed here for a birthday getaway, and it was fantastic. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the made-to-order omelet. There were plenty of electric sockets available to charge our devices. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to access shops, dining options, and tourist sites. We received excellent recommendations for beach clubs, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooftop bar offered the best sunset views it’s a must-see! We loved the complimentary bicycles that allowed us to explore the town without needing a car. Additionally, the hotel recommended a great transportation company that kept us safe and flexible with our travel plans around town (GoMaya.Mx).
