Easy access to great restaurant for great breakfast buffet. Lively neighborhood. Easy walk to Shinjuku GoyenNational Harden for spectacular cherry blossoms. "

"Location is ideal. Two minutes walk to Shinjuku station and yet really quiet. Rooms are clean. Nice coffee provisions. Front desk staff provided good service. Knock is the lack of a gym on premise. "

"We stayed in a renovated room with lounge access, which was spacious and well-designed, and had a great view of the Tower. Check-in was a complicated two-step process of having to go to two separate desks, then sit at a table in the lounge—it was nice to have the food and drinks, but there should be an option to go straight to your room first. Location is calm and peaceful by Tokyo standards—not where I’d stay for a first trip or a short trip, but it’s nice that there’s a convenience store directly in the hotel since there’s not much in the surrounding blocks. "

"I had a great overall experience staying at APA Hotel Ryogoku. The staff was consistently friendly, helpful, and very accommodating to English-speaking guests, which made the stay much smoother and more comfortable. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. It’s just a short walk to the train station, making it incredibly convenient to get around Tokyo and explore different areas without hassle. The only downside I experienced was related to the room temperature control. During the spring season, the system is set so that you can only adjust the heat, not the air conditioning. This made the room feel warmer than I would have preferred, and at times it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping. If you’re staying during this time of year, I’d recommend removing the key card from the slot when you leave to turn off the air system completely. This helps bring the room temperature down and makes it more comfortable when you return. Overall, I’d still recommend this hotel for its excellent service and convenient location—just keep the temperature limitation in mind depending on the season."

"Conveniently located 5min away from the nearest subway station with lots of restaurants and 24/7 convenience stores around, including one in the basement of the hotel. BEAUTIFUL room, very clean and included all amenities. Very polite staff that spoke English. Airport shuttle located a few streets away, but still quite near. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back."
