Excellent resort. Beautiful beach, great pools, the food and drinks were delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were super comfortable and the grounds were meticulous. It would have been nice if the coffee machine in the restaurant by the beach had been turned on and pastries or something available before 7am for us early risers.

Pool area is beautiful and grounds are amazing. Rooms are very nice and clean, beds are very comfortable. Making reservations for early dining is almost impossible, by the time you arrive at the property the only times available for dinner are after 8pm.

Everything was clean and well maintained. There was a small leak in the bathroom, which was fixed extremely quickly once notified. Good sized room in a smaller setting. Beach was lovely and sandy entrance to ocean. Poolside chairs get taken quickly in the morning, but the beach always had chairs available. Plenty of shade options or sun options. The relaxation pools are neat and give a tucked away and private feel. Food was good, but make reservations early to get the locations and times you want.

We just returned from our 4th stay at Royal Hideaway and we had a wonderful 10 days. The property was beautiful and we were very impressed with the large number of staff working each day on the property. Our room was great and our housekeeper was excellent! The staff throughout the complex are warm, friendly and very helpful. The restaurants were delicious and we enjoyed having our favorites again. The beach was beautiful but did have some seaweed. The staff and workers were diligent in removing the seaweed daily with a tractor. We have always enjoyed staying here and look forward to returning again next year.

The staff at this resort definitely makes the experience so so great. Ricky, the concierge, accommodated our large group’s needs and took care of any need we had. The waitstaff was always very friendly and kept the drinks flowing… shoutout to Genaro who was so friendly and always went the extra mile for us. There’s so many activities offered throughout the day and Carlos and Roberto made everything so so fun. This was our second time at this resort and it won’t be our last!
