"Grand floor room was very nice. Clean with plenty of amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The service in the restaurant could have been better but still 5 stars overall. "

"This was our "budget" stay and it ended up being our absolute favorite. Comfortable room, friendly staff, steps from the train station, and delicious free breakfast. I would love to stay here again. "

"The hotel is very nice - although I did see other review (complains) about the train track noises, I wasn't affected by it as it wasn't that loud and I could sleep peacefully"

"The modern hotel itself is a great facility set in a modern library setting with a variety of interesting books free to peruse. The two outstanding problems with this hotel are (1) access by public transportation is very limited, forcing the guests to hire a taxi to convenient nearby train stations such as Tokorozawa station costing 2,400-2,600 yen each way, and (2) the breakfast purchased optionally is practically the same throughout your stay—three different kinds of sandwiches. "The rooms were clean and mostly ALL (unfortunately, we encountered one female front desk agent who was "not so helpful" when getting info on the lobby wifi password. we'll keep her unnamed) the staff are friendly.
We especially like to recognize "Loc" and MITSUI (front desk agents), who were extra helpful and courteous throughout our stay. They went the extra mile to assist in our simple needs. We travel often and these employees were exceptional. MITSUI graciously helped us to communicate in Japanese with our pocket Wifi vendor to rectify a Wifi issue which was super helpful and Loc was eager to offer any information we needed of the area and hotel, along with other assistance. The room cleaning staff were also very pleasant to see in the morning, always offering a pleasant comment. Rooms were clean, property in general clean, and located 3minutes from the Higashi Shinjuku Station. The staff is the highlight of the hotel, and the hotel is managed well in accommodations for the guests, such as vending machines, a variety of extra amenities accessible at a station near the front desk. Overall. the Granbell Hotel is a very nice place to stay. We look forward to staying there again."
"Second time booking at Knot. First was during Tokyo Marathon. I will book again when I visit Tokyo. It may be a bit of a walk to Shinjuku Station but the place is not chaotic which I prefer. The restaurant at the second floor is very good too aside from the bread they sell at the lobby. "
"The rooms were very good for Japan. It was easy to get to the train from the hotel. Our overall experience as a family was great at this hotel. We highly recommend it. "
"This was a great location. The room was super clean and well equipped for our stay. The staff went above and beyond. Definitely get the access to the Lounge. "
