"Ocean view with bird droppings, but a heavy rain cleaned the window. Three stories up with no access so they can't do much about it. Very basic, not even a cup in the room to brush teeth no potable water. There is soap and shampoo in luke warm shower. Good restaurant right there its all ok for the price because beach is steps away."

"During 2 of our 3 nights they were doing construction in the middle of the night. Chainsaws from 1-4AM! Then we lost power for several hours in the afternoon while I was trying to get work done. We love coming here and the staff are great. But when you pay for a place to sleep and they choose to build shade structures in the middle of the night, it's pretty upsetting."

"We had a great ocean view. Cute little apartment, 1 bed 1 bath. Nice staff. Only thing I can say was bad was the shower head, needed a new one, and a little stingy on the linens. It also had a little spiral staircase off your balcony to go to beach. Very convenient. "

"This was the original Excellence, so it is a bit dated. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am allergic to gluten, so there were limited options, especially desserts. The chef in the Excellence Club was outstanding and made GF French toast for me every morning. The spa was gorgeous. "

"​The best part of this hotel is definitely the location. It’s steps away from the beach and within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and the city center. The rooms were clean and the food was good. ​However, the service left a lot to be desired. Some waiters seemed only interested in tips and clearly prioritized American or Canadian guests, which felt very unprofessional. Additionally, the lobby and its restrooms are in poor condition, and the beach beds/mattresses are completely worn out. Great potential, but needs better management."
