"I got the room I wanted, door had obviously been kicked in before and was badly repaired, showerhead only provided a dribble down the wall staff did try to remedy but I gave up and made due, breakfast was available next door but not until 10:30 am and only on random days, the pool was drained on my 3rd day , staff was great, manager looked at me like I was a criminal and sternly told me rules like I was an irresponsible teen, I'm 67, that said it was a nice quiet stay with a beautiful beach, I got what I paid for"

"Loved our stay here! Came with my friend, and we had a blast relaxing, eating and just spending time at the beach. We’re both vegetarians and were happy to see the plant based menu in all restaurants. Erika at the coffee shop was the warmestttttt - loved the coffee she made and how happy she made us! Only biggest con here is that the water is always marshy and not the blues you’d expect when you think of Cancun."

"Overall we had a good time at Desire Pearl. We enjoyed the clothing optional environment. We met great people, and we experienced amazing staff and excellent service. The environment was always clean and enjoyable. The day and night entertainment was great! The less desirable features… The room was ok. The mattress was very hard, just not as comfortable as we’d hoped or expected. The air conditioner dripped water onto us and the floor most of our stay. The food was ok. Suki was our favorite restaurant. My husband was asked to put on longer pants (he was wearing capri pants) to go to dinner at Pearl. We then saw a man seated wearing shorts. So the inconsistency was frustrating. Members are definitely treated with much preference. Everything from pool chairs to preferential dinner reservations. The beach area is basically non-existent. If we choose to go back it will be the people, both guests and staff, who we’ll look forward to seeing. "

"We spent a week here (family of 4 with 2 adult children). It was the most relaxing resort stay of my life and I can't say enough about the staff, location and smooth operation of the entire business! Our 2 rooms (one with ocean view) exceeded our expectations, as did the cleanliness, food and attentive but not overbearing service. The all-inclusive package was well worth it for us and the food was fresh, healthy and delicious. The 2 Mexican banquet buffets were fun with games and live music. The resort is a short walk to all the restaurants and shops on the port side of Puerto Morelos as well, making it an ideal location. Shout out to Eduardo in the Ro Marley restaurant and Noie in the spa for going above and beyond and also encouraging our Spanish language skills!"

"Beach right in back. Very friendly and helpful staff. For those reviews mentioning stained sheets....if you have ever had an old dryer then you would know its just burn spots. This town is very charming and peaceful. "

"Great room and lovely pool. A 5 minute walk into town/beach and they have bikes you can rent too. I arrived after check in closes and it was very easy to access the room. Fridge, kitchenette with hob and water dispenser in room. "
