"I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and would not recommend it. One of the biggest issues was the lack of hot or even warm water. Every time we tried to shower or use the sink, the water was cold, and to make matters worse, there were moments when brown water came out of the tap. When we brought this up to staff, we were simply told “that’s how it is,” with no effort made to resolve the problem or offer any solution. We had booked a king bed suite but were given a room with only a double bed, which was not what we paid for or expected. The condition of the room overall was poor. The fridge was broken, with only part of it functioning, making it difficult to store any food or drinks. The closet door was loose and hanging, clearly not maintained, and the sliding door to the deck was extremely difficult to open—it would get stuck halfway and required excessive force to move. Overall, the property feels neglected and poorly managed. Between the basic amenities not working, the incorrect room, and the lack of response from staff, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere."

"I have been here several times now. Here’s what sets excellence apart from other resorts: wide range of quality, restaurants, including Indian and Teppanyaki; high quality alcohol included, including 1921 tequila cream that is hard to find outside of Mexico; two story rooftop suite is fantastic; Excellence Club services (if you choose a room in that section) are very good. New reservations needed for restaurants, and all of them are included. The beach is large and sandy, not rocky. There’s a lazy river as well. "

"Location not even close to where Expedia says it’s at. Construction noise all around. No hot water. Bed hard as rock. Long walk to center of town Sink had no handles. Over all wouldn’t recommend it. "

"Accommodations are very clean, great location, staff are very friendly and helpful. This Accommodation would be great for short term guests but falls very short on long term guests. I was booked for 7 weeks but was expected to go that long without fresh sheets and towels unless I was willing to pay for them. When I wanted to send my linens to Rush Laundry for much less than what they wanted to charge me, I was told that I couldn't send their property out...on the original booking it stated that this service was offered to me every 4 days but only happened 3 times in 7 weeks. Upon me showing them this on my original booking, they promptly removed it from their site. I was not impressed with how this was handled and would certainly never recommend to anyone wanting these Accommodations long term. It was unfortunate because everything else was excellent."
