"Ishiahara is now my new favorite place in the world. The Ryokan at first seems humble, but the design, layout, and hospitality of it made me feel as if I was staying at the most luxurious hotel in the world. I look forward to staying here again!"
"Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made our trip unforgettable."
"Top notch property that was very comfortable for our family of four. Traditionally beautiful with all of the modern amenities included. The staff was very helpful and attentive and breakfast was on time both mornings (ordered separately). We would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended. "
"The hotel is great in all aspects. The lounge with desserts and cocktails that is included in the stay makes it even better
This hotel concept is awesome and would like to see more hotels like this

Hotel Granvia Kyoto
10/10 Excellent
"Spacious compared to other hotels in the Kyoto station area. Very quiet inside, despite being built within the station. Little kids will enjoy watching the Shinkansen run on the track from the rooms!"
"I had 2 rooms booked for my family of 7.
We loved everything that they offered!
The room was spotlessly clean and beds were very comfortable.
We loved the food (free ramen after 9pm, free ice cream and yakult after Onsen bath) and the star of the show is their buffet breakfast! I included the breakfast option for our stay and boy was I glad! It was well worth adding breakfast with your booking as it is cheaper than buying breakfast in the morning.
The Onsen was quite popular so we had to go at midnight when there wasnt much people using it. It was very satisfying for my girls and I to experience Onsen as adults.
Next time, we will be booking a longer stay as we all felt the tine we had was way too short.

"This was a great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was around the corner from a metro station (less than 5 minute walk). On the same block were 3 convenience stores, restaurants, and some great shops. You're also a short walk to the Nishiki Market and major shopping. "
Come to this market in the heart of the city to experience the authentic sights, smells and sounds of the bartering vendors and their traditional food.
