Quaint turn-of-century community with modern eateries and bars with cool, edgy vibes. We recommend The Goblin Market, The Funky Monkey, The Wave and several others in the area, including Shiva and Olive Branch. Visiting during Christmas and New Years

Lots of traffic. Be careful, the locals are working folk and in a hurry. The downtown is a nice evening stroll around with decent food and drink.

Once again, be prepared for an old fashioned retro experience. If this is your cup of tea, I highly recommend it.

Christmas lights were spectacular. A nice community park a few miles from the hotel had 6 pickleball courts.

Love this town so much! Many great restaurants, shopping and really fun place.
"The staff was the best part of my experience. Check in was smooth, service with a smile. Even the valet was on point.
Parking is expensive, but it's Orlando. The middle elevator was broken the two days I was there so waiting on the elevator was the only frustration.. not a big deal.
Everything was clean and I want to stress how well the front desk staff handled the busy lobby. A fashion show, parents with little ones Disney bound, it was a lot going on and I just observed; no matter how difficult one particular female guest seemed to be the man and woman (front desk staff) made the situation better and this woman was rude....
The food was great at the restaurant, breakfast was nothing to recommend or brag about because like most it was basic and bland.
The bed was COMFORTABLE!!!
Housekeeping did walk in on us without knocking, luckily we were fully dressed. Not sure why she came in (especially without knocking) as we weren't scheduled to check out that day. "

"We give landy hotel a 10 out of 10 the people are amazing and friendly. The room was clean and the view was great the food was great and the drinks kicked ass. The only bad thing I can say is the WiFi really needed work. "
