"Mount Dora, a place that steals your heart. What a historic and special place, with large moss-draped oak trees and acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and to top it off, the mesmerizing Lakeside Inn build in 1883, What a timeless setting, a place where you feel like you are in the movies stepping back in time, the oldest continuously operating hotel in the state of Florida and the last of the grand victorian era hotels still remaining in Central Florida. Thank you for the beauty and the peace we found in you! The memories we made there are unforgettable and we will cherish them forever."
"The breakfast was excellent and the server so helpful and pleasant. It was very busy and she worked hard to keep the tables cleaned and the buffet stocked.

"I am not the energy type and there is very good energy in this little place. It is literally the closest spot to what they call downtown here. It’s very old so it will instill nostalgia and was absolutely perfect for me. Do not expect a five star hotel. These places are very old and to find any of them well kept is great. There’s a modular showerhead and they have Wi-Fi, etc. Area is insanely dog friendly. Whole episode has been great. "
