"I had a great stay. The staff was welcoming, the lobby was clean and bright. The room was clean, spacious for a NY hotel, and the bed comfortable. The raised subway noise wasn't too bad, sort of muffled, so I was able to get to sleep easily and stay asleep. It was a great value for the price. I will come back whenever I need to stay in the area. FYI: There's no conditioner in the shower. "

"This was a special find. While we normally stay at Marriott facilities, I am glad we decided to try The Lodge. The facility was nice and it had included a good sized parking lot. Though the rooms were small, they were well appointed, with a comfortable bed and bathroom. They also put out a nice breakfast spread. The hotel was in a quiet area, across from a police station and next to a fire station, which made it feel extra safe. We definitely intend to stay here the next time we visit NYC. "
