property tired. Bed had saggy mattress that forced us to sleep in a dip in the middle. Bad nights sleep

This is the type of hotel you can imagine was deemed to be very regal when it first opened. Unfortunately it would appear that the hotel has not been updated since. The hallways were worn and old. The room itself was fairly clean and I don't have any major complaints, apart from the air con unit which was a large industrial type unit the full length of a wall and about 2 foot wide that made a lot of noise yet produced very little cold air. What little cold air came out was directed straight up the back of the curtains so made little impact. The "Fitness Centre" is a tiny room with no ventilation. It was very damp and sweaty in there. There are a few free weights and a few machines crammed into the small space. You were constantly moving out of peoples way as they tried to move from one piece of equipment to the other.

The lobby area was very nice and Lenka who checked us in was amazing! Super friendly and answered all our questions. We had to leave our luggage in storage as our room wasn’t ready. Marco took great care of us and was super friendly as well. Our room was very clean a little dated (very minor issue) but we really enjoyed our room. The location was great! Close to restaurants, shopping and Tube station. We will definitely stay there again if we ever get back to London.
