Staff of the hotel were exceptional and helpful. Hotel is slightly out of the main area, however, lots of food options around the area and easy enough to get to the Main Streets.

Good location

Oceania has become our favourite whenever we are in Kota Kinabalu. Staff are helpful and attentive ro your requests. They prepared ironing board and prayer mat even without prior request. Extra Pillows are useful . Nice space for luggages. Bathroom is spacious .. will definitely be back !

The room was comfortable, sufficiently spacious, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was really good.... if you know it will be an Asian/Malaysian meal. i.e. rice, beef and chicken curries (mild), eggs, and good sauces. There was also toast, jam, cereals, juice and tea or coffee. Coffees from the espresso machine cost extra.

The staff are friendly and nice, there are a few malay food restaurants nearby which is quite convenient. However, there is rubbish inside the dustbin when I just check in, the curtain looks dirty , the area is very dark at night which make me feel insecure.

Rooms are good, but it depends which one you get. We had room 116 first, which had no view at all (only a parking building), while 305 was nice. Also there were a few plumbing issues (floater in toilet stuck, one time brown water coming out of the sink). Breakfast is decent but not outstanding. The internet (wifi) is a bit slow but working.

Construction next door. Not listed in hotel booking. I checked in late night at around 10.30pm, didn't bother opening the curtains. Next morning awakened by noise of hacking at 7am. Looked outside and saw a huge construction site
