We had an excellent stay at the Shangrila Rada Ria hotel. The resort is extensive, offering plenty of activities. We particularly enjoyed the spa, the reserve, the pool, horse riding, and the diverse range of restaurants, including Italian, Japanese, and Malaysian options. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Milhan, Erly, Yadmin, and Adeline for their outstanding hospitality. We look forward to returning again.

It was great hotel. Staffs were friendly and room was nice and spacious. One thing though, even after I showed them and email about the 10 MYR per night tourism tax will be paid by Expedia at Check in, they still asked me again to pay at check out. It didn't happend at my other hotel, Le Meridien at all. Other than that, it was great stay.

Second room we booked was not ready due a” leak” - this was at 6pm. After we returned from dinner (which, to be fair was excellent) the leak had returned and flooded the entry to the room.

The access to the nature reserve was excellent, with the staff and service all top notch. A great experience for out of the city, and a very well managed resort.

Fantastic service

We were there for hubby's 50th birthday. We had the Ocean View Suite and it had a great view. The room was somewhat dusty which is not gr8 for my asthmatic husband, but the Housekeeping Manager, Wong Syen, took care of that. He also coordinated with his colleagues at the teppanyaki restaurant to throw for my husband a surprise celebration. Its really wonderful how service-oriented the staff is

A bit of luxury in Sabah.

This was a lovely hotel. The breakfast was fantastic with so many choices. Restaurants seemed very expensive but we were not on a package. Staff were wonderful, great pools and gardens.
