"We stayed in Emion hotel for 4 days. Clean, tidy with very friendly staff. Less than 5 min to city railway station and starbucks, one station away from a large grocery store, one station away from Kyoto station which is a railway hub. Getting taxi in kyoto is also easy and right in front of hotel. Very good size room for us as a family of four people."

10/10 Excellent
"My son and I really enjoyed our stay at Ryokan Yamazaki, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful from checking us in, to making sure we ate and helping to order us cabs. We loved staying at a traditional style Japanese home, and the location was up in the north west area of Kyoto away from the crowds and tourists which we appreciated, and the beauty of the mountains and neighborhoods. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a traditional Japanese stay."
