"Helpful and friendly staff. The Onsen is very nice especially the outside area that you can hire. The beds were comfortable. Not a lot of space for storage of clothes and luggage in the rooms. The Japanese restaurant in the spa was good and affordable. The Chinese restaurant was good food. The hotel and rooms are dated and need a Refresh. Nice views of the surrounding landscape. 5 min drive to a town with supermarkets and restaurants."

"The hostel boasts an excellent location, conveniently close to public transportation, restaurants, and shops. I reserved a private room with four bunk beds at a very affordable price. The breakfast is simple, consisting of toast, plain soup, and coffee or tea. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and made my stay even more enjoyable."

"Old school fancy hotel. It has a beautiful garden. Our room was lovely, overlooking the gardens with prime views of the sea of clouds ( mist piped in to give an ethereal feel to the cherry blossom trees) Loved the kaiseki dinner at Miyuki and unagi (eel lunch). The dinner afternoon tea had thick cuts of roast beef and mashed potatoes, served with a glass of bubbly. Japanese set breakfast comes with a thimble size glass of juice and no coffee. "Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a good location near the fabric district. Our room was small but had everything we needed. Great restaurants nearby and good transport links with two metro stations less than ten minutes walk away."
