"Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel in Shinjuku was disappointing. Throughout our travels in Japan, we’ve found hotel staff to be exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made this experience stand out in a negative way. We often felt like we were being given the runaround when asking for assistance, and there were several moments where it seemed like staff were talking about us, which made us uncomfortable. The hotel itself also had an unsettling atmosphere that was difficult to ignore. While it’s hard to explain exactly why, the overall vibe felt off and left us with an uncomfortable feeling during our stay. On a positive note, the location was convenient, but overall this was not the level of hospitality we’ve come to expect while traveling in Japan."

"I wish the Godzilla terrace was open. The beds are very hard like a board. Great location in the heart of Shinjuku. Good access to subway and train. The limousine bus stop to and from the airport is one block away."

"Excellent location. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Room was superbly efficient due to small Japanese hotel room size. Was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed mandatory room cleaning every 3 days. One elevator, so plan accordingly for rush hour. Great stay. Would stay there again."
