"This hotel was essentially perfect for all our needs. The only detractor was location, and that's only in that the closest tube station is a 10-minute walk, and if you or someone you are travelling with has accessibility issues, that walk can feel like a task. Otherwise, the location is great, the rooms are quiet, and the staff was of great help and support! "

"The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and nice at check in. Something to be aware of - the noise from the street was quite loud during the night. However I travel with earplugs and was expecting that in a hotel so central in London, so it didn’t cause me any major issues. The heater also wasn’t very warm but the room wasn’t super cold without it. The location is great, a very short walk to King’s Cross, and about a half hours walk into Soho/the west end if you’re in town for theatre!"

"The hotel was clean and looked nicely renovated. My main problems were the mattress was springy and soft. The walls were also very thin, so you can hear everything including footsteps from room above and snoring from room next door (not joking!!). I stayed only for 2 nights and it was convenient to be close to Kings Cross."

"Overall great experience at Strand Palace. Fabulous location in Covent Garden with access to restaurants, stores, theatre and three different Underground stations each within 1/4. Lovely, clean and updated rooms and lobby. Staff very helpful. Breakfast great and plentiful. I would stay again there for sure. "

"The beds in this place are of poor quality, we had two room moves made no difference. Cannot fault location or restaurant on site. Parking is £40 a night. "

"Stayed overnight before catching a Eurostar to Brussels. My single room was a decent size. A little hot, however the window opened. Would stay again if needs be."
