"The property has a beautiful setting with the sea and a primary forest as its backdrop. The hotel excursions are excellent with an added inspiration on marine and forest conservation. Coral garden snorkelling and forest trekking are highly recommended. The staff are all genuinely kind and attentive. A very good resort."

"The property is beautiful surrounded by a lush forest which brings around wildlife (including some monkeys that can be a bit invasive). The tram at Bunga Raya was really a pleasure, with smiles and warm hospitality. We do have to warn of the sand flies, which left my husband with over 60 bites on his back even after applying repellent (I on the other hand was never bothered much, as with other guests it was a hit or miss). Dinners were all to be served when we first arrived, but by the third...

"Not bad not great. The place needs some upkeep, but they trying. You can tell at one time this was a very nice place, but that was a time ago. The beach is nice and the AC worked for the most part. There is limited dining close by. And we did see a couple cockroaches in the place. One was huge. For what we were doing on vacation I think I would have been happier staying at the Marriott in KK for MYR 20 less a night. "

"The place looks like it’s been refurbished and it’s terrific. Sea view room(11) is great, close to pool, restaurant and beach (though not very swim able due to rocks that we saw on low tide.) Pool is terrific. Service great a about a half hour grab ride into KK. Highly recommend for a laid back stay. We extended our original 2 day stay to 6. "
