"Great hotel could be awesome "
Got a terrible room when arrived, right by the ice machine where people get ice from at several times at night being noisy, the balcony was right on top of the smoking area being quite smelly and the mattress in the sofa bed was quite bad. Got changed to a nicer room the next day and everything was OK in that sense. The hotel could do better regarding offerings for kids as entertainment, pool gears availability etc. Also, they charge 5$ for kids breakfast. We've got a promo of breakfasts included for two adults, the hotel will just look better if they hide the charge for the kid breakfast and just make it included for everyone. Happy hour drinks and Luau's have no alcohol in an "all included resort" style, which is a bit disappointing considering they are still expensive. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Activities are pretty much tourist traps, would not recommend any.

    "Absolutely fantastic hotel"
Wonderful week+ stay with kids. Great food options. Great beach (little strong wave action for the littlest ones) with off beach snorkeling with plenty of turtles and fish not that much coral. Cool pool. Nice grounds and other amenities. Cant say enough good things!!!!!

    "Best value"
Amazing facilities, room, amenities & service. The proximity to the beach, or just stay at the pool was key. Only downside is the small(we) pool got overrun w loud kids a few times a day. Would return in a heartbeat and being friends!

    "Great location in Princeville!"
Loved how family friendly the resort was, yet private enough for those not wanting to be around kids (like honeymooners). Friendly staff (several even shared great surfing spots, a rarity with local surfers, this island is the exception, I found). Hotel was booked to full capacity yet, we never once felt crowded, fighting for space in the pool, always had available lounge chairs. Studio room is definitely for a couple at the most, not a family as per Expedia. We upgraded for a good deal to a 1 bedroom and are glad we did.

    "Luxury Hotel in Princeville"
If you're the type that likes less crowded, more luxe accomodations, St Regis is the perfect fit. We stayed here our 1st leg of our trip and transferred to Grand Hyatt (south side) for the remaining 2nd half. St Regis is more quiet, laid back. Romantic and perfect for couples, adults. I'd recommend Grand Hyatt for families w kids. They'd enjoy there better. It's nice to experience both as they are on separate sides of the island.
