"The resort itself was extremely enjoyable. Not over crowded. Good food , great drinks & friendly staff. Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience the first 30 minutes into our stay. The rooms do not offer an interior lock such as a dead bolt. As we were settling in & changing to bathing suits house keeping entered unannounced to deliver towels. They apologized - we were shocked. Than about 15 minutes later , A bell boy escorted a different couple into our room !! We went down to the front desk to explain what happened & They said our room was showing unassigned ( Someone made a mistake ). No compensation was offered at this point. The next day we asked the front desk to order us a taxi from the resort to another resort with a casino - The taxi arrived and transported us 10 minutes down the road to the wrong location. Tried to order us out of the car and into an unmarked “ taxi “ with 5 men standing around it. Uncomfortable we refused to get out and demanded he drive us back to the resort. He did. Ultimately after all of this , the resort apologized and offered us a private dinner on the beach ( which then was canceled due to rain & moved inside ). Im not sure I agree this was the correct solution for us. Its a shame because we absolutely love the resort. But will not be returning. We feel the situation was not taken seriously. "

"Thanks to Orbitz we got the VIP services with free wine and dessert at check in. Our rooms were upgraded to level master suite. Property was very clean. The rooms were big. Housekeeping kept it clean every day and provided snacks in the fridge for us. The beach is gorgeous however claim your seats early! Splash island was okay. We prefer the pool. Spa service was great. Food was a hit or miss. rumba and beach night was our favorite. Rosso was our least favorite due to service and food quality. Kids club was great they had our kids busy with activities while we had a massage"

"No beach towels for 3 days as they were out. Waited for 20 minutes for bellhop when we arrived at midnight. Finally we walked to find our own room in the pouring rain."

"Everything was great except the food. Buffet, barefoot grill and preferred lounge were the only real option. The restaurants had long waits, poor service and the food was awful and at times barely edible. "
