"Bathroom had a musty order all week. We had no washcloths upon checkin. Nice resort otherwise. Room a little out dated."

"The property was beautiful, very, very clean. The only feedback i have is that the staff did not understand English in the restaurants very well. When asked for allergies, they did not know or even accommodate. I understand that English is not the country's first language; however, when catering to travellers, it would be beneficial to have workers who understand. Food taste is about 3 stars for the restaurants. Tepyanakki was best for us. Buffet had many options, but in general, basic taste food, no flavour, even salt and pepper were scarce. Dessert however was a 5* and coffee bar was amazing. Overall would visit again maybe for shorter duration "

"Great beach. Oceanfront room excellent. Staff very good, many speak English and if you can speak just a bit of Spanish, no problems. Food: breakfast and lunch buffets very good. La Brisa restaurant excellent. A la carte restaurants at the Palace only so-so ....... assembly line cooking. Noisy: It's a huge property and attracts large groups which can be noisy - especially at the pool. The Palace seemed almost frenetic at times, families with children and US young adults on Spring Break. Also, there are "party boats" which cruise out at sea - constant very loud music. Plenty of beach chairs but not enough at the Pool."

"My friend and I stayed for three days, and unfortunately it was a very bad experience. We received the room two hours late because it hadn’t been cleaned yet. We never had direct communication with the host and were never given an access code to enter the room. If it hadn’t been for the building’s doorman, we would have been left outside. On top of that, the internet was very poor and barely worked. The shower had almost no water pressure, and to make matters worse, the power went out one night and we had to find someone to help us reconnect it. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay. "

"Not sure were to start, dirty livingroom furniture, bird droppings on kitchen chairs, broken jacuzzi, pool is being cleaned with house broom...so not that clean. Moldy daybed outside, tiles outside by the patio door all moldy, 3rd bedroom door was kept locked so no access, we didn't need the 3rd bedroom but still makes u wonder why they kept it locked up. No plumbing in the kitchen sink...and we were never told about this! Found out when we woke up one morning with water on the kitchen floor. The sink was hooked up with a flex pipe going into a big bucket underneath the sink and the pipe had fallen out of the bucket. Fly squat was stored with the kitchen utensils, coffee maker with no coffee pot, no can opener and the cherry on top of the sunday...found a huge cockroach under the kitchen sink while trying to reinstall the pipe in the bucket. Host was sympathetic to us with the issues but we never heard back from the owner...last message was that they were going to leave it in Expedia's hands when we asked for a partial refund as in order to salvage part of our vacation we were forced to find another location that was sanitary."
