Check-in was a complicated two-step process of having to go to two separate desks, then sit at a table in the lounge—it was nice to have the food and drinks, but there should be an option to go straight to your room first. Location is calm and peaceful by Tokyo standards—not where I’d stay for a first trip or a short trip, but it’s nice that there’s a convenience store directly in the hotel since there’s not much in the surrounding blocks. "The room was clean and a good size. The staff was helpful and check-in was smooth. They have an area to lock up your bags if you need to with plenty of space. It was a short walk to Shinjuku station, so it was really convenient to get around the area. Would definitely stay here again. "
