"Beautiful facility - we stayed in the lodge which some spots needed repair work. Not walkable or really close to town or train - need a car, as local taxis took a while to come. No shuttle available. Restaurant is excellent, breakfast was good. We are going back - will have a car next time. "

"The Hotel decor is tired and a little dated. Our room had a connecting door (great for families but not for us) Even though we were in the "newest" part of the hotel it was pretty obvious that the floor boards went through both rooms as as we were disturbed by the people in the next room as they moved around and visited the toilet during the night ... it sounded like they were walking around in our room."

"Booked a long weekend away here and we absolutely loved it! Its such a lovely hotel with quaint and interior and furniture. The staff are so helpful and kind it was easy to see why this hotel is so popular. I will definitely be back as it was perfectly located for a beach walk and close to Dunoon highlights to visit. "Amazing location right from the ferry terminal is about three minutes up on a hill with a beautiful Waterview, historic hotel historic facilities, plaid everywhere we love staying here had a very warm, feeling dining room was open for both breakfast and dinner service which was excellent parking though was a bit of a nightmare."
