Great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. We also liked the pool, sauna and steam room. We paid for an upgraded room which was very nice and comfortable. The only downsides were the lack of bedside plugs, and we’d have preferred the en-suite to have a door for privacy.

The food was really, really good. We arrived at 3.30pm and wanted something substantial to eat and they have a relaxed all day dining options available. The green pea soup was really delicious and served hot and then I enjoyed the cheese burger too. The breakfast was also substantial, lots of choice but it all seemed fresh and appetising. The hotel itself is probably looking a little dated and the beds I thought were a bit hard but that didn’t stop me being pleased I had booked this place.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s such a lovely old building with so much charm and character. The bed was really comfortable, and after a long day of being out exploring, the bathtub was absolutely amazing. It was just what I needed! The little bar was so quaint and cozy, and the woman working behind the bar was so sweet and kind. She really added to the experience. The walls are a little thin, but honestly, that comes with staying in a beautiful old building, and I think the charm more than makes up for it. I think this would be a perfect little retreat for a couple or even a solo traveller. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!

The rooms are very hot. There is no air conditioning. However, the windows can be opened. Breakfast was excellent and very generous. Some accessibility problems,including many stairs to some of rooms and breakfast location .Elevator in bar -congested.

I had a wonderful 2-night stay at the Glynhill Hotel; the staff were amazingly friendly and couldn't do enough for me. the rooms are beautifully presented and clean (the toilet was a little bit of a squeeze - but I am a big fella) the food was amazing, from the all-you-can-eat breakfast to the restaurant to the room service. the pool was in perfect condition and not too busy, which was a help. I would definitely stay here again.
