Stayed in a superior pod, very contemporary, comfortable, clean, and well insulated from the weather with lovely views of the loch and mountains. Not much in the immediate area food wise (would need to drive to Balloch for any alternative dining options) but the food at Oaktree was lovely, tasty and filling. Good choice of whisky too.

This was our favourite stay during our road trip around west Scotland The staff were incredibly polite and kind natured The food was amazing ( large portions ) The decor is quirky and charming We stayed in what I could better describe as an apartment more so than a room- stone floors and lovely and clean The staff recommended a walk for us with the kids and it was perfect, alongside the loch, to beaches with incredible views Very nice place indeed

Amenities and staff attention was poor. The hotel does not cater for guests looking to relax with friends. We were unable to sit anywhere after 10pm other than the edge of our bed. This is despite having spent in excess of 500 pounds.We raised this upon departure the following day and were told someone would be in touch. 7 days on we havecheard nothing. Not worth the money.

I LOVED staying at the oak tree in cabins. Check in was smooth and was surprisingly upgraded to their premium cabin pods which was a nice surprise. Lady at reception was so efficient with clear communication on how to find the cabin. Staff were so kind and food was amazing. Will definitely come again!

A fantastic, relaxing 1 night stay, perfect after climbing Conic Hill in the morning. Check in was smooth, the room was fabulous, lovely loch view with a private balcony, think it was a premier deluxe room, well worth the upgrade, very warm and clean and tidy, the most amazing powerful rainfall shower, nice wee added extras such as toiletries and bath robes and slippers. Very peaceful setting and lovely in the Winter for a cosy stay. Buffet breakfast was absolutely fantastic, all fresh and kept topped up and was delicious.

We had the most fantastic stay at the Oak Tree inn. We were up for my partners birthday and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming - all the way down to giving us the best seat in the restaurant right by the fire. The room was cozy and clean. Only thing to be aware of is that if you're in the main building above the restaurant it will be noisy during dining hours. Outside of this it was super quiet so no issues at all getting to sleep. We will be back!

Beautiful lodge with comfortable bed. The water pressure in the shower was a little disappointing but enough to do the job. The large chest of drawers at the end of the bed left little space to get out from the left side of the bed. A slightly smaller unit would have fitted under the TV making it a much easier space to use. Would stay here again beautiful location. Food at the Oak tree inn was good pub food. Definitely didn't go home hungry.

Super clean room, great facilities, lovely staff, awesome breakfast, lovely bar, comfortable bed. only downside the rooms are not very well sound proofed. we could hear the person in the lodge type room beside us snoring all night. at 6am in the morning the people in the room above got up to go walking. we where awakened by their every footstep and could hear most things that they where saying. Bar this, we had a very enjoyable stay.
