"Had a lovely relaxing couple of days at McDonalds Forest Hill Hotel. Hotel is situated on an incline with absolutely stunning views. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had Room 208 which was excellent, lovely large room and good sized ensuite which was very clean and tidy. Ate 1 night in the Bistro which was a nice setting ordered haddock which was slightly undercooked and unfortunately coffee/tea was not supplied and had to be ordered and taken at the hotel but apart from that we had an...

"The room was lovely and spacious and thoughtfully designed, the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made guests feel welcomed in the restaurant. We enjoyed the spa, which had a nice variety of experiences to relax and unwind, with lovely views from the outdoor sauna. "

"A charming stay with a gorgeous view of Loch Lomond. The facilities were older which isn’t a negative since it adds to its charm, however the mattress we stayed on had divots where many other people have rested their heads. The staff seemed to take great pride which was a plus. The food was fair. There isn’t much around but the Inn has a restaurant, bar and while we visited, live music which was so nice. Overall, the atmosphere we loved but the mattress really killed our quality of rest. "

"We went on a holiday weekend with family visiting from Philippines. The location was beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. The hotel was clean. Staff was attentive. We did not had hot water on our 2nd night, but the staff were quick enough to have it checked first thing in the morning. Hotel has its own charm, which is unique in its own way. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, great to have basic amenities plus having the steam/sauna room was a bonus. Carpets needs changing and the...
