"Great seaside resort. Spacious room, good view of the ocean. The private baths were simply divine, perfect way to relax and unwind. Complimentary beer/water/snacks in the room, ice cream after your private bath. The staff were great even with the language barrier they made sure you understood where your room was and where things are on a map. There is parking in front of the hotel but we arrived via taxi, approximately a 5000 yen fare from the Coaska Bayside Stores depending on time of day."
"The location is great so close to the beach and great Hawaiian restaurant. Was very hard to find the first time. Not easy to get a response from host. "
"This property is in a great location and everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The staff were excellent, the property is very well maintained and very clean and the breakfast service and nightly snacks were superb. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend."
"Amazing hotel in Kamakura! Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great restaurant, and a short walk to the beach and the main attractions. I would definitely stay here again. "

"It was a very enjoyable stay at this culturally authentic accomodation. The city is incredibly charming and peaceful and this villa fits perfectly with that atmosphere.
Great location, within 5 minute walk from train station and main shopping and dining streets."
"We had an amazing time staying at the Amber house in Zaimokuza. The amenities were excellent, the house has all kitchenware stocked, and the parking spot right out front was very convenient and fit our rental SUV. It is a little tricky pulling in/out of the narrow driveway but one of the neighbors came and helped us. The beach is just steps away (look for the underpass walkway, don't cross the road) and also close to the Drop-In Cafe for great lattes. We would love to come back some day!"

"Room was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a good size and allowed access to both sides of the bed! The staff at the hotel were excellent and the airport transfer service was right on time. "
"Beautiful setup. Breakfast suitable for vegetarian and vegans. Room size is decent and well maintained rooms. Safe for family with children. Good room service. We had a guest for a day out of our 5 night stay and they didn’t charge us for that. "

"Upscale hotel worth every dollar.. from the moment you arrive, until the moment you depart, the staff is attentive and amazing.. I've been to allot of 5 star hotels but this one falls into my top 5 favorite hotels I've ever stayed at. I highly recommend. "
"Shibuya is great for eating - any kind of cuisine and any price point. Good roof top bars nearby. The Excel is right across the street from major train and subway lines so transportation is fine. The hotel is reasonably appointed, and the staff very accomodating. We have been staying here every year for 10 years or more"
