The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, the room was spacious and beautiful, and the close proximity to the Basilica and Doge's Palace made this hotel a perfect spot. "Excellent hotel and restaurant. All the staff were wonderful and the room was spacious and clean (bath, mini bar and safe). Ivan and Valentino in the restaurant, in particular, were exceptional and catered to our needs very well, (we're interested in wine and have various dietary requirements including a nut allergy). The breakfast stood out, with a wide variety on offer and high quality. The hotel is well situated for sights (but our of the bustle of the people) and the airport (esp. if you use the water taxi). We really enjoyed this hotel and would like to come back. We used the Turkish bath and steam room but we were a little disappointed regarding the temperature as it was a little cool for us. We"
