Hotel Montecarlo
The greeting from the hotel clerk was abrupt. When he told us our room was in the annex, I told him I booked in the main building. He said, very rudely, "I did not book the room and it cannot be changed". The bellhop assisted us with luggage to our room, but, we are seniors, had to walk thru an alley-like ...

Near to the train station and quiet area around. Personnel very polite and supportive about my questions, and also with early check-in. Good breakfast included.

Palazzo Dei Guardiani
The door outside wasn’t reliable. It was locked for at least 15 mins and could’ve missed our tour. But someone was able to open it and they fixed it.
