The bed was not that soft, only that, the hotel is good enough, affordable price and convenient location to move around the city, however, not related to hotel, but Kabukicho area could be a little noisy and there are a lot of people trying to convince you to go to their bars that could be annoying, just be prepared for that.

The Toyoko Inn was good for my partner and I. The room had everything we needed and was clean. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is due to the hotel being a little dated and the stations with the more usual lines being a fair trot away (10 mjns walk).

The hotel entrance is located in a sketchy alley. While I didn’t feel unsafe, it was not the cleanest area. At night the area is dimly lit and the streets surrounded the property are filthy. It’s the only place in Tokyo I saw that was unclean. The room was very small. There was little room for luggage and no place to unpack or store clothes. The bathroom was completely outdated with one single faucet for the sink and shower/bath. There is a free breakfast that has lots of choices. There’s also a little necessities area that even included pajamas to borrow. Do not rely on the staff for assistance, they will direct you to the machines.
