Location was excellent - within 5-10 min walk to Shimbashi station. There are many convenience stores, restaurants and bars closeby. Plus side - area is not as busy as places like Shinjuku, Shibuya and Asakusa. Some may find it a little "seedier" than other neighborhoods frequented by travelers but if you come from a big city, it should not feel seedy at all. It definitely felt safer than the equivalent neighborhood back home in Canada. The hotel itself is pretty barebones but comfortable. I enjoyed the free coffee/tea in the lobby, and the concierge was friendly and helpful. The ensuite washer/dryer was incredibly useful. I strongly disliked the bed linens.

The rooms are as dense with amenities as possible, there's just enough room for everything EXCEPT your luggage. Both me and a friend were having pretty bad allergies inside, especially inside the bathroom?? it got better with the heater off and the windows open. Beds are pretty stiff if you like that. Can't comment on breakfast

Decent hotel with helpful and professional staff. Has good traffic connections near by and lively neighborhood. We stayed in the highest floor but could hear the traffic to our room, probably common in Tokyo. The bed and pillows were extra comfortable though so that was nice! Good hotel for the rate payed. All rooms were very clean and comfortable. Personnel was very good. there was not a lot of variety in the breakfast. I suggest usually to go and have it outside. Will get better quality and variety.

I just want to say the location is great. You can take the JR Yamanote Line to all the location you want around Tokyo. (It’s like a big circle) The room I chose came with the Microwave and washroom/dryer in one. Which is great. The Room itself is ok for one person. Yes the room is clean, I like the bath tube too because at the end of the day i can just relax. I do noticed that the hotel is kind of older now, so probably need a renovation soon. I can’t commend on the breakfast as i did not choose it.

Did not like the room size and layout - room was very small and narrow. Staff was nice, but was expecting more English speaking staff. No housekeeping on a daily basis - room is cleaned only if you stay for 7 nights or more! Description of hotel could be better so that I would know what to expect!! Was not happy being in such a small and very narrow room for 6 nights.

Very clean room, small as expected (we took the 15sqm room) but sufficient for our needs. It was a great surprise to come out of the train station from the airport and realize it’s less than 5 mins walk to the hotel! The location is very central, lots of Izakayas and restaurants near by, but because it’s so close to the metro you can get literally anywhere in Tokyo. Overall we had lovely stay and would recommend. I did take down one star, as there is an upper train that goes near by and from our room we could hear it till late at night, which I did not know in advance (and I’m not sure you can hear it from every room) - so just be aware and bring ear plugs if needed. But it definitely didn’t affect our trip that much.
