The room was so clean, and the staff members were so courteous. Additionally, the location was convenient because it was close to the JR line, the Ginza line and the Chiyoda line. Although the room size was small, it was very reasonable.

The receptionist guy Tanikawa was very polite, accomodating and always happy when talking to guest. The housekeeper also did a good job. Satisfied customer here and will stay again in the future. Thank you.

Overall a good stay, but there wasnt too many amenities (some coffee providedor larger mugs would be nice). Would suggest a vending machine with some snacks, but there are alot of food shops around. Note that visitors not allowed up to the room even non staying family, and this is enforced by a mandatory stop on the concierge floor on the elevator However the rooms were clean and the location was good and close to the station.

Pretty good staff, but rooms were just ok. Dont know why the room used fluorescent white lights, you can hear the road noise. Japan rooms are usually small, i stayed in plenty, but this one was even smaller and tighter.

Room was very cramped for a double twin, could barely unfold the suitcases. Location is good, staff was friendly when checking in. Air conditioning worked well since it was extremely hot while there.

Fantastic hotel

Nice and modern hotel. The room (single) was great value for the price. The staff is very kind and professional. It was extremely easy to get around in Tokyo from here as there are so many metro stations around. I am tall and was worried from the previous reviews..but the size of the bathroom and everything is just like any other normal hotel in Japan.

This hotel was conveniently located in Akihabara, with Mcdonalds, Family Mart, and Lawson within a 3 min walk. Room was very basic but had all the necessities you need. (The walls were a bit thin though as we could hear the other guests in the hallway, etc). Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. A washing machine and dryer are located on the first floor with the reception desk and lobby on the second floor. The elevator will stop at the second floor every time, which starts to get a bit annoying but I'm assuming it's for safety reasons/etc. Check out is at 11 which is an hour later than most hotels, which is great! Overall, the Okachimachi Urban Hotel was a great choice. Would definitely stay here again!

Good hotel with great location in Akihabara

The location was great however, the washroom was very small. Even compared to Apa hotel's washroom, this one was smaller. The reception is on the 2nd floor and the elvator always stops there which starts getting a little annoying after a few times. The receptionist was very friendly however. And they even checked us in early at 11am without us even asking with no extra fees.

I had a great time staying here for 9 nights. The area is very convenient and while there was construction in the building right next to the hotel, I did not hear any noise during the evening so it did not affect my sleep at all. The location is a short walk away from the Tokyo Metro line and the JR line, making it super easy to get around town. It is also just a short walk away from areas such as Akihabara, Ameyoko Shopping Street and Ueno Park. While the room was a bit smaller than other places I have stayed in Tokyo, I was still able to open my check luggage (clamshell style) completely. Overall, I was quite happy with my stay here and would visit again.

The rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is so wonderful! Bonus, the hotel is perfectly located to shopping, dining, entertainment and trainlines (JR, H, G and C). There is so much to see and do and it is easy to hop on any of the railways to almost any location nearby. The hotel staff are so friendly and cheerful, we absolutely love this hotel and stayed last year - we will be back next year!

秋葉原駅と御徒町駅の間ですが秋葉原の電気街からすぐのため、楽しみながら行き帰りができ非常に良いと感じます。上野アメ横も徒歩15分ほどでアクセス良好でした。 客室は少し狭いものの素泊まりするには問題ないく、設備は綺麗でとても良かったです。 1点だけ、必ずフロント階の2階でエレベータが止まる仕様のため、少し煩わしさを感じましたが、それ以外に問題点はありませんでした。階段も使えないので混雑時は少し時間がかかるなとは感じました。その点で5点中4点にしました。 ホテルのスタッフさんはとても親切丁寧で、価格もリーズナブルでした。

Excellent stay. The room (602) assigned at the check in had a strong smell even though all rooms were claimed to be smoking free. Had it changed to a new room (303) which was perfect.
