Wonderful room, great staff, very beautiful garden. Not cheap though, and not immediately obvious where to go nearby to dine at more affordable rates (South seemed best).

Beautiful hotel and amazing Japanese Garden! Sky View restaurant was an excellent! Unfortunately, we were ignored at the Satsuki restaurant and felt unwelcome! Needed to ask to be served and it felt no one wanted to provide normal service! The food came out in the wrong order and my wife was served 10 minutes before my meal! The wage burger was over cooked! Again, could not get anyone to address! Response was sorry!

A wonderful stay in the New Otani. The room was spacious and had all the amenities that I needed in the room. The hotel is so large and the fact that there a shops and restaurants within the complex made it helpful.
