Holiday in Tokyo for the first time so mostly out and about and mainly used the room to washup and sleep. Rooms were clean but you can see the extract fan's dust lingering on the wall, nothing too much to worry about. The integrated toilet had a nice bath tub, which after walking 35k steps in a day.... definitely require it to soak my poor little legs! The shampoo and shower gel smells really good too! Used the disposable toothbrush and left it for re-use but housekeeping swapped it out for a fresh one - not complaining! The metro was a quick walk away and if you wanted to walk to Shinjuku, it's a quick walk too! Nearby, there is a nice homey canteen which has great options if you run out of ideas of what to eat (unlikely in Tokyo!) or want to have something simple. Check out time was 1000hrs and had a few hours to spare before going to the airport. Reception kindly held my luggage for me at no charge! Overall, great experience

Ok so opted to stay here to enjoy golden gai night life. Complaint 1: Checked in on a friday and woke up saturday morning as the staff began cleaning at the other units at 8:30am prior to check out (10am) very annoying. Other complaints: 2) Near a fire hall (noisy) 3) actually pretty far for shinjuku action 4) single elevator for 11 floors and 100 units 5) water leak around AC unit caused pooling water on head board and my phone was soaked I would advise to stay elsewhere, it not worth the cost regardless of how cheap it is.

They have a construction site right next to the hotel and have drilling from 8:30 am Monday to Saturday . The worst part - hotel staff doesnโ€™t speak English , very rude ( both racist and sexist ) I cannot even leave my luggage after check out it before checking in . Worst hotel I have had i Japan , will not recommend it .

Before arriving at this hotel, we stayed at the Asakusa location and asked a staff member if it was possible to store luggage before check in at this location and they said yes it was ok because it was the same company. Upon arrival at the Shinjuku hotel, we asked to store luggage where they proceeded to say that there was no luggage storage before or after check in. Many hotels in Japan do store luggage for before and after check in but when reserving this hotel there was not mention of not having luggage storage. When it was time for check in, the staff member at the front desk was being rude and passive aggressive when we tried to check in. My significant other politely asked if there was a reason for them to not store our luggage and they were very rude and said there was no specific reasoning. It was a very unpleasant way to arrive at this new hotel.

Very inflexible in their policies. You get exactly what you pay for and not a bit more. This is better than some other properties who actually don't even live up to their promise, but on the negative side, trivial requests are not even considered here. Pay sleep and leave and don't bother them otherwise. To be fair, the value is still very good and it is not a 5-star hotel, but some service adjustments would make it great.
