Clean (tiny) room and very helpful staff. Might have one of the nicest views of the Sumida River and the tower... outstanding!
For the price of the breakfast, you can probably get something cheaper in the surrounding area. Free noodles at night, icrecream and probiotic drinks are welcome perks. Onsen time for women is a lot less than for men. Great view from the room if you have a room on the river side.

this is property with nice view for the Sumida river and Tokyo Skytree tower. The breakfast is super good and the service of the staff is good. However the property is suggested to be renovated.
convenient location, comfortable stay, loved their eel rice breakfast and night snack noodles.

Average property and breakfast but great location and accessible to transportation and around area
of Asakusa! Great food options as well!
Staff was very friendly as well!
I liked all the ammentities that the hotel had to offer. Even had access to the onsens a few blocks away if you wanted more than the SPA that the hitel had to offer.
The staff are super welcoming and friendly. Rooms are a bit tired but the facilities make up for it. It was a perfect starter hotel for nervous newbies! We would stay again.
Although the room is on the small side, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the property, the deliciousness of breakfast more than make up for it.
We stayed for 2 nights.
Easy to find, close to asakusa station and the big don q.
Excellent service and friendly staff, especially the man with the glasses who works nights! He helped us book a tour and always helping us with our questions!
Awesome, we forgot his name.

Very nice stay, the location of the hotel is fantastic! Walking distance to Asakusa Station, to Sensoji temple and Skytree. The staff was very friendly and the bowl of ramen we got on the evenings were perfect, the onsen at the hotel was cozy and simple and there was a good massage chair and soda machines next to it.
What was unfortunately less good was that the rooms are very small (as you can imagine it is usually in Tokyo) and it smelled of smoke, the smell did not disappear even though we aired it, it also felt like they needed to freshen up the rooms a little and get a little softer pillows as the ones they had were rock hard. Otherwise we were very satisfied with our stay and would love to come back again! Very grateful.
Staff were very nice. There is free ramen after 9pm which was handy in a pinch. The footbath was amazing, though we didnt partake in the onsen.
The are is extremely great, very close to Asakusa metro, and the whole Asakusa area is so fun to explore. Not on a loud/busy street too which was great.
The room we got was not very big, but were were able to manage our luggage. Having a comfortable bed/pillow was important for us, as we had fifficulty in past japan trips. The bed was nice, but the pillows were very flat. We asked reception if we could have a second pillow and they gave us each a much larger/fluffier one which was amazing! We really liked this place!
Tasty food and snacks. Public bath and spa room of easy access.
The only disadvantage is the difficulty to connect/cast to in-room TV using personal devices.
Just 2minutes walk from exit 7 Asakusa terminus station of Ginza subway line which is connected with Matsu Department store then you come up to ground level. The hotel is at opposite side of the road. Close to Senso Hi( Asakusa Temple). Can't be upset with shopping and dining options. Our room has great view overlooking Sumida Gawa (River Similar) and facing Skytree Tower. Staffs are friendly and courteous.

Small room facing Sumida river. Struggled with small bathroom with little counter space and required a 1 foot step up to enter and down to exit. Could hear train noise in evening. Otherwise, a convenient location. Enjoyed the hot foot bath and complimentary ice cream on 10th floor after long day of walking.

Express Dormy Inn has friendly and helpful staff. They've got everything you need, including the best feature (in my opinion) the foot bath at level 10. We get to relax and recover our overly exhausted feet from all the walking around in Tokyo. The location is good enough, walkable to many different metro operators. The only thing I don't like is the facility/building itself is quite outdated. Clean and tidy, but outdated. Which I know it could be a deal breaker for some. And the outdatedness is the reason that I took off a star out of 5. Everything else I'm quite happy with.
