"The on-site hot springs were fantastic. The concierge service helped us find a great tour for our last day, and they were very accommodating in allowing us a late checkout to work with our flight plans. The views from the balcony were excellent, and the room was incredibly spacious. Dining options were good, though pricy. Try to stop at a grocery store before settling into the property - some cheaper snacks and breakfast items would have been a good buy for us."

"Tabacón is an incredible resort! The springs is much larger than you would expect, with many beautiful parts to find privacy and relaxation. The drinks are incredible and views are even better. We indulged in a couples volcanic mud massage- and it was the best massage ever! The spa is beautiful, peaceful and worth it! One thing to consider is that it is a 20minute ride to town, so you are pretty much committed to eating at the resort- which is not cheap. Each drink is $15 and meals are $20 ....

"Great hotel to stay at in La Fortuna. A beautiful view of the Volcano from the back patio. It’s a smaller hotel, with a few hot springs that we never spent any time in. This was a short trip. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was very tasty and they had ok iced lattes (they were just a bit watery).
