"I visited Barcelo Maya Riviera in April of 2026. The pool was very large and never felt crowded. The food at the buffet was amazing. They serve breakfast and lunch and an early dinner as the buffet closes at 6pm. So either have an early dinner or visit one of the many à la carte restaurants. The restaurants were all very good most especially le Comedie the French restaurant. The rooms were very spacious and king bed was bigger than a king lol it was huge. The staff were amazing This is a trip I will never forget. "

"This was the nicest resort I’ve ever stayed at. It takes all inclusive to a new level of luxury. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and chose a room with a swim up balcony. 100% worth it. Having your own private place to take a dip was wonderful. And our room was constantly checked up on and refreshed. We enjoyed couples massage, which was also perfect. The spa experience was comprehensive and pampering in the best way. I utilized the gym, which has everything I needed and then some! Plenty of equipment and attentive staff. The food at the restaurants was also superb—special shout out to the Mexican restaurant, Cuavo Siete, and the Japanese restaurant. The all you can eat restaurants where also great, as was the variety of food you can find at quicker food options around the pools. The bars was also amazing—quick, strong pours, and a real variety of drinks. Lastly, our personal host, Luis Angel, was the cherry on top. He made our stay feel personal, and he booked everything for us—every dinner reservation and massage. He was there for us and gave us all the information we needed to have the most fun and relaxing time possible. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. "
