"Barcelo Maya Palace was an absolute paradise! My family stayed for five nights and really did not want to leave by the end. The resort is huge and you are never wanting for things to do. My two teenagers were completely happy to just hang out in the gorgeous pool closest to our room, though there were myriad other free activities we could have done. The facilities including our room, pools, walkways, dining halls, restaurants, and beach were immaculate. The staff was really the greatest part of our stay, every single person we interacted with was kind, courteous, helpful, and so very accommodating. Everything about this resort is set up for your maximum enjoyment and relaxation. The food served here was another highlight, not only was it delicious, and mostly made from whole, fresh food, but there was a huge variety (even for someone like me who is a vegetarian and a very picky eater)! If you want to travel off the resort they have plenty of adventures you can plan. My family and I had the adventure of a life time hiking the Mayan ruins at Coba and swimming in the Gran Cenote. All in all, this resort is worth every penny you spend. 10/10 highly recommended!!"

"We’ve been to several spots in Mexico and other resorts but to be honest Dreams Tulum is our home. As soon as you walk in, everyone greets you, everyone smiles, and everyone steps a side to make sure your are okay. Dreams Tulum reminds me of a small town in the middle of the jungle, a small town that everyone knows your name. Only ding in the beach and need to figure out the best time to come, but on a clear day you can actually walk out (chest high at least 50 yards), another disclaimer they are renovating right now since Hyatt bought the chain. I know they’re might be other resorts but to be honest this place has taken my heart away"

"- Excellent customer service - Good options for food - More if a relaxed vibe than a party setting - Lots of beautiful wild life to observe. - Need more guest entertainment/evening shows - Lower room I was first given had an overwhelming mold smell and I had to be moved. Moved to a nicer upper unit and they were kind about it but if you smell mold, move. They tried to tell me it was normal but started to feel sick when in the room. - I would still 100% go back back because of the beauty of the resort, the variety of food and restaurants and the great customer care while there - If you can book directly with the resort as its cheaper than expedia packages and you get VIP access."
