"My partner and I made a last-minute decision to go to Tulum. We opted to stay off the beaten path a bit for a more private, intimate location at a Tulsayab penthouse. The decision paid off big time. The amenities and service were above and beyond. We experienced a LOT of wildlife (racoons, iguanas, agouti, coati, birds, etc.) just on this little bit of beach front. The bay on which the property sits is beautiful and quaint. The road in and out is bumpy/rough, but other than that, we wouldn't have changed a thing. We rented a car from Cancun where we flew in and that was an easy drive down, and it was fairly easy to get to and from the main town and this complex has very convenient parking right out front. We took advantage of our private plunge pool as well as the kayaks. Hats off to Enrique, who was so kind and helpful as our host. If you're looking for a more relaxing, affordable stay in Tulum, this is THE option."

"Wonderful staff! We loved the restaurants. The wait staff is so friendly and fun. We were lucky enough to have Carlos as our waiter for 3 consecutive nights. Laura in concierge services was fenomenal. The entertainment crew put together lots of fun activities and music/dance each night. We had a great vacation"

"A rare time when the pictures line up with reality. Our stay was very nice. The place is well run and only a couple years old. The food was great. There weren't many people staying there since we went in slow season (July) so it felt very mellow and private. The beach was full of seaweed so we couldn't swim, but we expected that so it wasn't a disappointment. The beach is very calm and shallow. Excellent location near everything. No more than a 15 minute drive to most of our activities. Highly recommend."

"I loved everything about VR club tulum. The staff was very welcoming and kind and polite. Pools are great. The beach had seaweed, but that’s out of any humans control—Mother Nature! The only thing is that the shower water doesn’t get very hot but it’s still warm. Also, it was my birthday and my dads and they gave a cute cake with a cute decoration on the bed. I can’t wait to go back!!!"

"Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were clean. Staffs were helpful and nice. Unfortunately, the seaweed overran the entire beach, which wasn't anyone's fault. It's a shame we weren't able to use the free kayaking or swim at the ocean. The swimming pool was a good substitute though. The road is horrendous though, so make sure you drive safely."
