"The room was clean, but I did see some black grime in the shower. Other than that the staff were really nice and the service was excellent. I also enjoyed the onset, which opened late until the morning."

It was a tradition Japanese place, public baths that were spotless and cozy, got kimonos for our stay and inside house slippers, the meals were unique and intricate. "First time at a Ryokan. Wonderful experience from when we first arrived until we left. Room was beautiful and private onsen was luxurious, we spent a lot of time there! 100% get the Breakfast and dinner package, it was such a unique experience with lovely traditional meals and it was very large portion for 2 people. They also provided a lot of free amenities that we could take home with us including photographs and a traditional pouch/bag. i would definitely recommend this Ryokan to anyone planning to visit Nara."
