When arriving in Kyoto station we went down to the bus station and got the 206 bus ( each time is a flat 230 Japanese Yen or they accept Suica card too , just tap once when you get off the bus stop which Gion is about approx 8-10 stops away ."

"We had great stay here while in Kyoto. Easy access to the train station and friendly staff as well. The breakfast is a must while staying here. It's got good variety and a salad bar for all your daily fiber intake. There's always a line forming outside the restaurant in the morning, but once it's moving, just a few minutes of wait.
