"About a 5 minute walk from Kyoto station where the shinkansen is located. This hotel was fairly great for me. There's a Don Quijote across the street, pharmacy, Lawson and 711. The staff were all super friendly and when we got a language barrier they had a neat gizmo to help translate. "

"A fabulous hotel newly refurbished. Very comfortable beds and rooms, superb service and very good quality food. Extremely convenient to Kyoto station (about 3-5 mins walk) dependent on your exit. Great gym and spa. Recommend allowing a little extra time for your breakfast as hotel is always full and consequently busy. "

"The hotel is superb la!!! 1. Parking very convenient next door 2. Location 100/100 to be next to Kyoto Tower, rented our Kimono there and walkable to beautiful temple and places! 3. The onsen is good too, I particularly like the one with ice neck rest, 10-20mins only. 4. BREAKFAST is the highest standard for Japanese breakfast! Has Sashimi and all options! 5. Evening supper 9-11pm Ramen is good too, hearty Not so good part: abit tooooo crowded and packed and touristy, and the shoe area can stink quite abit tbh.. "
