10/10 Excellent

"STAY HERE! I was having a hard time finding somewhere in the area to book that wasn't a motel or completely unaffordable, and the Sea Spray Inn absolutely blew me away. The location is perfect, one block away from the beach and a block away from restaurants and bars. The room was great, the king size bed was memory foam and better than my own bed at home! Even the couches were comfortable. The sheets, towels and pillows were soft and good quality, everything smelled clean and pleasant. The pool was warm enough to enjoy at night and early morning. The ammenities are awesome. We had a late flight out so we were able to check our luggage and still use the pool and beach chairs, as well as a shower and bathroom in the free laundry facility after checkout. Gettting around the town was FREE in the little electric buses. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, 4 days was not enough we will definitely be back. This has been one of my favorite stays ever."

"I booked this “resort” for the sheer amount of 5 star reviews it had and when I got there, I was severely disappointed by what I saw and received. The reviews mention that the staff is a 5/5 but when I first arrived they had guys standing around laughing and making slick comments about my transaction. I was not prepared for the “surprise $200 deposit” that was not mentioned beforehand. The following night I watched another gentlemen go through the “surprise fees” when he checked in and he said “well, that’s how they get you huh.” Anyways, during my 3 night stay, I requested towels twice and no one ever showed. The only staff that are good are the beach furniture staff. None of the staff anticipate needs or go above and beyond or even do the bare minimum. I barely saw anyone. Reviews also said the hotel was clean but once you go into the hallways, they have disgusting stained old carpet and hot hallways that stink. The smell is similar to someone’s smelly armpit. My first room had stains on the furniture and a funny smell. They eventually checked on me and switched my room. I won’t have enough characters to talk about all the bad stuff but the good thing is the convenient location of the “resort” and the breakfast staff! Special shoutout to Cynthia. She is doing a great job. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK HERE. After 407 for the room, 140 in “resort fees”, 75 dollars in parking in their own lot, and $200 deposit, I can’t say I got any value from this place."

"Upon arrival, the pictures on their website looked nothing like the property. There was mildew and mold in the bottom of the swimming pool. We immediately tried to cancel and had no cooperation with owner or management of the facility. If you look at the other reviews, it is filthy dirty would not recommend anyone."

"Well mixed opinion about it. Great location. Breakfast sucks… first day… did not serve breakfast until 9 am.. people waiting for 2 hrs and they did not know how to open the door. also we ask to use the pool table and they said we cant used it because its 830 pm. If I continue telling I will not finished.. well for sure I will not stay there again."
