"This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby.
We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "

"It was very special experience to stay at Japanese traditonal house with my family. It was a little bit far from the main sightseeing site but we were ok because we had a car. Kinkakuji was especially awesome."

"Amazing experience from start to finish. An extremely authentic and comfortable stay with top notch food, impeccable service from the owners and their staff! An hour out from the city, but the bus ride is an incredibly scenic route once you’re out the bustling chaos. Would love, love, love to stay here again in the future! "
