Everything you need is right on the premises, yet you have plenty of options within walking distance on the main strip with many restaurants, stores, and gift shops. "This is a unique hotel, decorated creatively in a Moroccan theme. Beautiful artwork in all the common areas and in our room. Take note that there are some interior rooms that have no windows. We opted to upgrade to a room with windows and a balcony, and it was quite spacious and comfortable. It didn’t cost that much to upgrade and it was well well worth it. On the roof, there are stone bathtubs that guests can fill with water and take in the views of the city while cooling off in the tubs. It seems to always be breezy up there and it’s a great escape from the heat. There are shady areas if you want to get out the sun or you can sunbathe there. It is quite unique and a treat in the day or evening. Close to all the Old San Juan historic sites and restaurants "

"Great little boutique hotel right in old San Juan. We had a very busy check-in time so the staff for fairly rushed to get everyone checked in and get rooms ready however they have a great little bar right in the lobby to make you nice and comfy while you wait. You're served by the staff whatever you need, they have it right there. You can tell they stay very busy Cruise traffic for the overnighters and lots of guests coming in to enjoy our San Juan. The suggestions I would make when you have such a quick turnaround is sweep and mop the room floors. It makes a difference, especially in the bathroom and around your bed standing up on a floor with dirt and debris after you've had a restful night sleep not fun. Otherwise it was a great stay I will return."

"Arrived after hours due to delay in flight but had been assured that was not a problem. Waited an hour on the street in the wee morning hours to be let into the hotel. Once in, they couldn't run my card in this building but was going to run it at another location. Then apparently, they dont take Amex even though we were not told and when they tried to run the card later, it wouldnt go through. Understandably, they need paid for us staying. I get it. But it was 6:30am before we got to our room. We were exhausted. If they didnt take Amex the check in staff should have said and we couldve provided another card immediately. Instead, they started hounding us. It was your mistake, you can't run a card in that particular hotel, you didnt know you didnt take Amex, it was 6:30am, we were exhausted. How about offering to come to us? Despite the check in problem, the hotel was nice and clean; the beds slept well and bathroom shower had nice water pressure. I would stay there again."

"We are older women and they placed us in this huge two bedroom place which was fine but up two flights of stairs and no elevator. The place itself had half steps into bedroom etc and we continually tripped."
