Room clean and quiet. Hotel in an excellent location a very short distance from long pedestrian walkway with great restaurants and stores. Also not that far from beaches.
Coco Rio Hotel is very charming and is in a great location. The rooms are nice and clean. The outdoor atrium area in the middle is very calming and pleasant. The staff members were excellent as well. I will definitely stay again!
I had a wonderful stay at Coco Rio Hotel! The concierge staff, especially the two ladies at the front desk, were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and genuinely sweet. We checked in on the 21st, and although we weren’t happy with our initial room, they promptly offered us two other options-truly receptive to guests’ needs.
Room cleaning services are available on request, so if you hang up the “Do Not Disturb” card, the staff will happily attend to your room. I really appreciated the secure, safe, and cozy atmosphere of this boutique hotel. The room amenities are very good and reflect the price charged.
Overall, my experience was excellent. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the pillows. Not everyone is comfortable with flat pillows, and the current ones feel like simple cotton padding covered with a pillowcase. Fluffier pillows would make an already great stay even better.
Highly recommend for a safe, friendly, and quality stay!
Coco Rio is a small, simple hotel that feels more like staying at someone’s home than a traditional hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient, and the staff was friendly, especially the front desk girls.
I really loved the decoration. The hotel has character, and I especially liked the furniture.
There are not many amenities, other than a small terrace/patio area where you can sit and relax. However, I appreciated that the room had a refrigerator and a kettle to heat water for tea. They also provided organic shampoo and body wash, which I appreciated because I prefer natural and organic products.
The breakfast was the only disappointing part for me. It was inexpensive, but as a picky eater, I did not find it worth the extra cost. Don’t expect anything fancy.
Overall, if you want a simple, quiet, well-located place and do not need many amenities, Coco Rio is a good option.
Rooms were spacious and clean. The courtyard style was interestingly laid out.
We arrived at 2:45 pm and were made to wait until ‘official’ check in time at 3pm which I thought was a bit petty.
For the price we paid I would stay again.

The property is nice, but has no elevator.. I had a nice room but on the 3rd floor.. that meant 40 ( fourth) steps up and down each time I went to my room Also the hotel is quite far from the main beach ..
