"We chose this hotel as it was near the park. The staff were efficient and very helpful. They have us tea and sweets on arrival before showing us to our room. The western style twin beds were clean and comfortable apart from the normal Japanese hard pillows. The legless chairs with cushions were set on a tatami platform and it overlooked a residential area & trees. The shower room was clean and well appointed. "Very lovely room with plenty of space and a great view of Kumamoto. Lots of amenities provided in the room, which was well-furnished. Breakfast was delicious, with a large selection of both Japanese-style and Western-style foods, as well as Kumamoto specialties. Staff were polite and helpful and able to communicate effectively despite a language barrier. Property was beautiful, with a lot of fresh flowers, foliage, and rooftop terrace. Additional services include laundry, gym, resting/wellness area with microwave and coffee machine, onsen, and self-service luggage storage. The hotel is in a very convenient location, attached to Kumamoto station. We would stay here again and recommend it to all."
