It was very nice and clean, When standing in line is a bit longer need more people at the front desk when it’s busy time. Staff are very nice, my room was spacious nice and clean except the strong smells from the bathroom. Need to address that one I can smell it from my room even though it’s closed. Breakfast was good lobby smells so good. I will still give them a five stars.

Issue with the toilet door but was addressed swiftly. Front desk staff, very accommodating with special mention to Roy. He was always ready to help with anything. Breakfast was average, could have added more selections as compared to other HIEX in Asia, specially Singapore. Airport shuttle was a perfect addition. The driver was courteous and drives very safe. Overall my stay was great and will stay again in the future.

Our overall stay was very good. One of the biggest advantages was the security, as guests are required to go through an X-ray screening each time they return to the hotel, which made us feel safe. The breakfast was enjoyable, and many of the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, regularly clearing tables throughout the service. The hotel also offers a breakfast-to-go option if you notify them in advance, which is a great convenience. While it seemed that some of the bread provided may have been leftovers from the breakfast buffet, it's commendable that the hotel makes use of surplus food rather than letting it go to waste. Guests are also given a choice of beverage to take with them. Daily housekeeping was another plus, and complimentary bottled water was provided throughout our stay. The location was very convenient for us, being close to Terminal 3, making it easy to walk to the airport for our flight. We would definitely consider staying here again for a short trip. There is also a 7-Eleven and McDonald's right next door, and the hotel is very close to Resorts World Newport, which adds to its convenience.

The staff at Holiday Inn Express - Newport City were professional, courteous and willing to serve. We stayed here prior to our 3 am flight back to the states and it was worth what we paid. The only other thing is rhe musty smell in the bedroom. Maybe it’s due to all the rains. But to me it was pretty musty.

The room was decent and the location was very convenient, with easy access to the mall. One thing that could be improved is the bathroom amenities. There was no conditioner provided, but there were two hand soaps instead, which seemed a little odd. I also appreciated that the hotel provides grab-and-go meals for guests checking out early. However, this could be improved by making an actual sandwich rather than simply putting leftover bread items into a bag. It would make the breakfast feel more thoughtful and satisfying for guests leaving early. The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay, especially the staff who drove us to the airport. They were very accommodating and made our departure much easier. Overall, we had a decent stay, and the convenient location and friendly staff were definitely highlights.
