The rooms are quite old, and some details have clearly not been taken into consideration. There is only one power outlet, there is no hanger in the bathroom, and there is an unpleasant, somewhat strange smell in the lobby and corridors. However, the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

It was crazy hot when we were here but the property doesn't have AC. Usually in England, that's not a problem! Big room, nice bedding, twin beds were helpful & big mirrors for getting ready. Bathroom was a good size.

The hotel is in a great location , rooms are relatively clean ( bit of dirt in bathroom unfortunately) but no air conditioning so rooms extremely hot. The hotel has put fans in the rooms though. One thing to mention - there are not enough plug sockets in the rooms! On the whole the hotel is good value for money

It’s a little happy Hannah the staircase Nero was topped to towing scaffolding. The man that checked us and was very nice and amiable. There was no air-conditioning only a fan in the bathroom was rather small. There were kettle facilities and the beds were comfy enough for one night. Everything was spotless and it’s in quite a good location so couldn’t complain about that. Would possibly look for somewhere with air-conditioning on another visit, alternatively. But this did have twin beds.

Had a 7th floor room with a couple really cool views out of the narrow, tall bathroom windows. Great bed, good shower. I’d say ask for the 7th floor! But note the elevator (“lift”) only goes to the 6th, then you have to walk a short flight of stairs, so guests with mobility issues won’t want to be higher than the 6th. Location is amazing - our favourite part of London

The hotel was clearly falling down as it had structural scaffolding inside holding up the building inside and sticking out of the walls in the room which the advertisement did not mention. The walls are cracked and the furniture old and tired. Staff were ok and friendly enough. Beds were clean and comfortable. Amenities liked water worked well.
